A musical encounter between Irish and German art-song, Irish Songmakers is joined by Amy Ní Fhearraigh to celebrate the beloved and undiscovered repertoire of the genre. 

Following their great success with the recital in Ireland performing at the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival in Woodhouse Estate and in the National Concert Hall Dublin, Liedtreffen makes it way to Germany with performances in the Frankfurter Goethe Haus on June 28th and in Berlin at the Mendelssohn-Remise on June 30th.

Radio France Broadcast

Amy Ní Fhearraigh joins French ensemble Miroirs Étendus in a national broadcast of composer Michael Gallan's Impí, a musical short in the Irish language with libretto by Annemarie Ní Chuirreáin.

Romantics with Irish Songmakers

July 2023

Irish Songmakers present a programme entitled “Romantics”, which celebrates the musical worlds of composers of the romantic era: Edvard Grieg, Jean Sibelius, Richard Wagner, Richard Strauss and Giacomo Puccini.

Irish soprano Amy Ní Fhearraigh and pianist Niall Kinsella perform beloved songs including ‘Morgen’ and ‘Allerseelen’ (Richard Strauss), and Wagner’s sublime Wesendonk-Lieder. To mark the centenary of the birth of legandary soprano Maria Callas, they include some of her greatest opera arias by Puccini and Bellini.

Amy returns to the Royal Opera House in London in their upcoming production of Wagner's Das Rheingold covering the role of Woglinde.
